Keys2Drive Program

Heidi is a fully accredited instructor with the Federally funded national education Keys2Drive program.

The program is for new drivers, their supervisors and driving instructors which aims for zero harm in the first six months of P plate driving.

Research has shown that whilst on a learners permit, casualty crashes are minimal.  This rate increases by about 30 times once on their Provisional licence.  The aim of the Keys2Drive program is to replicate the safe and cautious attitude of the learner before they pass their practical driving exam and to carry this throughout their Provisional licence term.

Whilst the Keys2Drive program is designed to work alongside existing driving programs, it aims to encourage learning, and which will: 

*   provide more hours behind the wheel

*   ensure the learner experiences a greater variety of driving challenges in all conditions

*   provide the learner with a greater understanding of the psychological, emotional and mental 
     challenges involved and the true responsibility each driver holds
